ESI Entertainment Systems Inc. (TSX:ESY) a
leading provider of secure payment processing services to the international
online gaming industry, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary,
PlayLine Inc., has launched its PlayLine Monitor Gaming System at the Lima Uno
land based casinos in Lima, Peru.

"We are pleased to be working with Lima Uno, particularly as we continue
to validate the capabilities and opportunities for the PlayLine Monitor Gaming
platform in Latin America," Michael Meeks, President of ESI and PlayLine Inc.
"Lima Uno has been instrumental in supporting our expansion into Peru and
other Latin American countries."

PlayLine has contracted with Lima Uno, an international casino operator
with interests in numerous land based casinos throughout Latin America.
PlayLine's Monitor Gaming System allows players to place wagers on
virtual races that run every few minutes, with the results displayed on
monitors throughout the casino using visually stimulating graphics and sound.
Games to be offered in Peru initially include Thundering Hooves(TM) virtual
horse racing and Canine Cup(TM) virtual greyhound racing.

"Virtual racing complements our casino and race book atmosphere" said
Michael Rosenburg, President of Lima Uno. "PlayLine allows us to generate
revenue, even when live racing events are not available, thereby leveraging
our existing investment in our infrastructure".

The PlayLine turnkey system includes point-of-sale wagering terminals, a
central wagering system, graphical display units, and computer generated
animations. PlayLine's contract with Lima Uno is based on receiving a
percentage of the net revenue wagered through the PlayLine system.
