Many people in the online gambling industry think this is a conspiracy. Look, MGM is already talking about buying up PartyGaming and 888 Holdings. |

Interesting theory. It wouldn't surprise me at all to find out it's true. Thats a really low and sneaky way to do it, but I hope regulation and legalization is where this whole mess finally ends up. |

The industry was regulated somewhat. To the degree that webmasters and the major casino players could tell you what casinos were safe, and which were not. Blacklists existed for rogue casinos and they quickly went out of business. |

that America has cleaned up the online gambling industry. Online casinos have been licensed for years in Antigua and Costa Rica and many other places. From the above quote it looks like you mean you want AMERICA to run all regulation and legalization procedures. There is the rest of the world, too and we don't think that we should have to follow one countries rules. Right now the rules say you can't gamble online. This is a international community and indeed an international internet. The WTO has ruled in favor of Antigua regarding online gambling and the United States simply disobeys the ruling. (unless its in the USA's favor) in which case you better comply or we'll kick your ass. A very ignorant stance. |
