The Forest County Potawatomi break ground today on a $240 million casino expansion in Milwaukee.
The construction project will triple the size of the casino in the Menomonee Valley.
Five-hundred construction workers will build the addition, to be completed in 2008.
When it's done, the tribe plans to add another one-thousand full- and part-time employees to its payroll. The casino already employs two-thousand.
The Potawatomi expect the expanded casino could boost revenue to as much as 570 (M) million a year, more than double what the Milwaukee casino took in over its last fiscal year.
