It's just irritating to me. Especially right now. My household is going through some major financial issues and I don't have an extra 10 bucks to gamble away. Knowing people can throw away $10 million without even giving it a second thought seriously makes me want to cry.

I feel your pain eyes. My clutch went out on my truck I got job issues (sales, and sales are slow) so the lil bit i try to put aside is like a value meal to these guys. I wish they could play cards with me if they are that bad lol.

Yeah, I have to agree - the thrill - isn't worth it at that level. 10 MILLION? that is a hell of an entertainment bill when people are starving in the world. I think you could OPEN a small casino with that type of money.

I can't even imagine what 10million would do for my life and the lives of everyone I know. I'd definitely spread the wealth further than the casino. And you're right, you probably could open your own casino with that kind of cash.

I gamble to make $$, so I think if I had 10 million dollars, I'd likely do alot less gambling :P .. I do love the game, the casino atmoshpere and all of that as well though.. sooo hard to say for sure from where I sit now.

I know me personally I would still gamble at higher stakes but I would also set myself up to ensure that my personal life was well in order. If I won anything while gambling I would just call that a bonus and buy anything I wanted but keep my original cash to gamble with later

Well, although some will probably disagree with me, I think sports figures make WAY too much money anyway. Especially when they can throw away millions like that! It all becomes about the money, and not the game. I know there are some professional athletes who do good things with their money, and I respect them for that, but so many of them become spoiled children who realize that they never have to grow up - they can afford to stay childish and immature, as long as they stay popular and make money.

I agree Tracy. 10 million to some sports figures is like $10 to us. I feel sorry for the older guys that played pro football and baseball and made very little compared to today, but then again, they did get paid to play games each day. I don't see how anyone could lose $10 million on gambling.
