A Buffalo Common Councilmember says it's possible the city may hold a public meeting on the proposed casino compact with the Senecas. That was suggested by Seneca Nation President Barry Snyder.
Dominic Bonifacio tells NewsRadio 930 WBEN he feels a responsibility to open the door and let the public know what's happening. He says the council has been on the outskirts of talks between the city and the nation so far.
Bonifacio says there are a lot of questions surrounding the small-scale casino approved over the weekend by the Seneca tribal council, especially whether it is the first phase of a larger plan.
