The Riviera in Black Hawk made the TV news this weekend - not in a way they would prefer....

Channel 4 aired an "investigative" report about the "leather" coats the Riv was giving away for 8000 points. Damn, 8000 points at 1 point per dollar gambled could add up to a lot of dollars!!!

Anyway, the coats are plastic - fake leather made in China. And somebody reported them.

I've got to tell you, the Riv has REALLY lost touch with their customers.

Their buffet, once one of the best in Black Hawk has really gone down hill (and they raised the price!!!). Their video poker paytables have crashed across the board. And now this bogus promotion.

You can't pull this garbage in Black Hawk anymore. People have too many options to put up with it.

I sure don't.

WOW! How long are they going to last up there? That really is slinking low.
