Comedian Robert Schimmel returns to Trump Marina’s Shell with his all-too-real brand of humor on Saturday, November 24, for two shows at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Born in the Bronx, Schimmel’s big break came in 1986 when Rodney Dangerfield invited Robert to perform on his HBO Young Comedians Special that led to his critically acclaimed Showtime specials Hard Core in the Big Apple and Robert Schimmel: Guilty As Charged.
Bob went on to make a name for himself. He wrote material for In Living Color, and appeared on HBO’s Young Comedians special. He soon went on to appear on Showtime, The Playboy Channel and the Fox Network, as well as star in his own Showtime specials: Hard Core in The Big Apple and Robert Schimmel: Guilty As Charged. In 1995, Schimmel was deservedly named Comic Of The Year in the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
