Country music fans have learned to expect the best from the Rockin' Roadhouse tours. This year's tour features a full band fronted by three stars who between them have over 30 number one singles and more than 50 Top Ten hits.
Mark Chesnutt's numerous hits include "Bubba Shot The Jukebox," "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing," and "Going Through the Big D," but they all take a back seat to his first love, he lives to perform on stage. "I just make records because I want people to come see my show," he says with a grin. "Recording music for folks to just listen to is great, but I've got to be out there on stage making it. The clubs and honky tonks are home for me. It's comfortable and I'm always with friends."
Joe Diffie, one of the most respected vocalists in the business, says he focuses his music on "me, the way I was raised, where I am in life, how I approach things. I've always gravitated toward substance over sizzle, and (my music) really displays the inner workings of my creativity. It's got substance."
He's sold over six million records including hits like "John Deere Green," "Third Rock From The Sun," and "Prop Me Up Beside The Jukebox (If I Die)."
Aaron Tippin has hit the charts with songs like "Working Man's Ph.D.," "Kiss This," "You've Got to Stand for Something," and "There Ain't Nothing Wrong With the Radio."
He considers himself a lucky man. "I've been fortunate enough to have written some songs that have had an impact on some people. After all the years of doing this, what means most of all to me is to have written a song and hearing people say, ‘Hey man, that's neat.' I'm like a six-year-old on a bicycle on my first down-hill run. I don't know what's at the bottom of the hill, but I am excited and unafraid. So it's scary and fun and all these emotions at once."
