I've been tinkering around with a roulette strategy and I would like some opinions? The strategy is 2 bet 2 2-1 bets at a time. 1-12 and 13-24 at the same time ect. What ever number comes out you bet the other 2 2-1. For example if the number 7 comes out you bet 13-24 and 25-36. If you are betting $5 min bets it will cost you $10 to win $5 if you win. If you lose you keep betting the same 2 2-1 that you lost on but increase your bet by x3. So your 2nd bet would be 15, 3rd bet 45, 4 bet 135 and so on. Once you win you start over. I have only been able to play for free online and I haven't lost yet. With a table max you can lose 4 times before a win and with 64% percent of the table covered it seems like it works. This is something I figured out does anyone else have anything similar they are doing? Like I said I've only played online for free since you can no longer wager in the US online.

There are a lot of games you can "play with yourself" at the roulette wheel and some definetly work better than others. I play with a strategy everyone frowns on, but it's fun and it keeps me playing longer than simply using chance alone.

There are those who say you can't beat the odds, and I agree. But that doesn't mean I can't try, be successful sometimes and have fun, create systems and execute them. To me that's what gambling is all about.

As for roulette systems, they can work or fail, just like anything else... sometimes I can go and play and walk away ahead. Sometimes the wheel doesn't work the way I planned and nothing but being able to see the future would work for me on those days.

Thanks for signing up. I want to hear how your strategy plays out once you have some real money in the game!!

-cheers, B

I tend to stay away from Roulette since the odds really are stacked against you. However my suggestion is to try to find an older Roulette table where the wheel might be a bit biased towards a certain side, this happens with age as the materials wear out a bit. However its hard to find tables like these, so its not really realistic.

Your strategy seems a bit similar to the Martingale system which involves doubling your bet after every loss. This works sometimes but requires you to have a bankroll that is quite large. The real problem with this system is the fact that casinos implement a table bet limit which could prevent you from doubling up till you win. Though you may experience good wins in the system at first eventually you'll hit a bad streak and realize how inevitably flawed this system is.

Casinos are in the business to make money, they've calculated every angle, investigated every theory, strategy, and system, if a flawless system existed they wouldn't be in business for long. I suggest, stay away from those games and just play some poker!
