The former Jack Tar Village in St Kitts - now the Royal St Kitts Hotel & Casino - has rebranded and renovated and is re-opening with a new look and feel, the family-run business has announced.
"Royal St Kitts Hotel & Casino will re-open on December 1, 2007 with a younger look and feel and a reinvigorated focus on the Kittitian culture," the company says.
"The hotel has infused this renewed focus into every aspect of its services and facilities; from its new logo, which features the Royal Poinciana, the national flower of St Kitts and Nevis, to its nightly showcase of local Kittitian talent, Royal St Kitts Hotel & Casino aims to deliver an authentic island experience."
Royal St Kitts Hotel & Casino - the first casino on the island - said that 80 rooms will be ready by December 1 and the remaining 202 rooms will become available in a phased manner during 2008.
"The hotel boasts an array of amenities, including two restaurants, six bars, two pools, four tennis courts, a banquet facility, and the Royal St Kitts Casino. The Cane Club and The Lime Beach Cabana, located on the Atlantic Beach, are also scheduled to open shortly.
"The hotel's commitment to promoting Kittitian culture has been on prominent display at its entrance since the early 1980s, a unique fountain, made out of a sugar-boiling cauldron known as a "copper", stands as a symbol of St Kitts' sugar-producing history. All of the coins tossed into the fountain by Royal St Kitts Hotel & Casino's guests and staff will continue to be donated to the local Children's Home." |
