The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, was looking to have some fun and relaxation while visiting the casino, which is one of the area's most popular.
"I was hoping I was going to be lucky and hoping I'd be the one to hit the jackpot," said the shocked winner. "This will help make my life easier, and I won't be so stressed out over bills anymore."
This marks the 8th MegaJackpot grand prize awarded in Mississippi this year, bringing the state's total to over $16.8 million.
