Seneca Gaming & Entertainment (SG&E) has added eight tables to the poker room at Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel. On Monday, October 2, 2006 at 2 p.m. SG&E hosted a Grand Opening Event and Ribbon Cutting on the Casino Concourse between the Poker Room entrance and the Bus Lobby. The opening came at the perfect time, as the Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot also began on this date.

The 1,790 square foot expansion provides SG&E with enough room to accommodate 24 tables. Speeches were made by Arthur John, Chairman of the Class II Gaming Committee; Tina Abrams, Director of Class II Gaming; Spencer Gauthier, Director of Poker Operations who also cut the ribbon welcoming guests into the new area.

Seneca Gaming and Entertainment has four Class II Gaming Facilities which include high-stakes bingo halls and VIP lounges at the Salamanca and Irving locations, as well as luxury Poker Rooms located at the Irving Hall and at both Seneca Allegany Casino and Seneca Niagara Casino. Seneca Gaming and Entertainment is owned and operated by the Seneca Nation of Indians.
