Simi Wine & Jazz Dinner Friday, April 25, 2008 A night of fine wine, cool jazz and exciting racing! A four-course dinner & wine pairing features four of the best wines Simi Winery has to offer. Plus, renowned jazz vocalist Yvonne Taylor will perform from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The first course is paired with the 2006 Roseto - fresh & crisp with strawberry and peach undertones. Second course features the 2006 Sonoma County Chardonnay - notes of pear and green apple with a warm spice finish. Third course is paired with the 2003 reserve Cabernet Sauvignon - a full bodied wine with notes of blackberry, plum and cocoa. The dessert court features the 2005 Sonoma County Zinfandel - hints of cherry and berry laced with vanilla.
