Richard Lewis
and Josh Blue

June 1

Time:8:00pm
Prices: $33, $28, $22, $15
On Sale: NOW

Richard Lewis’ free-form, uninhibited style has been likened to beloved talents ranging from Lenny Bruce to Jimi Hendrix. The N.Y. Post said; “Richard Lewis built the strongest stand-up comedy career on a blazing trail of neuroses since Woody Allen,” but perhaps Mel Brooks put it best when he said, "Richard Lewis may just be the Franz Kafka of modern day comedy."

Richard is currently on his “Misery Loves Company Tour,” having just wrapped his 6th season of Curb Your Enthusiasm where, playing true-to-life, he reprises his role as one of Larry David’s closest friends. Among the accomplishments he is most proud of; Comedy Central has recognized Richard Lewis as one of the top 50 stand-up comedians of all time, he was charted on GQ Magazine’s list of the '20th Century's Most Influential Humorists' and he sold out Carnegie Hall.

In a collection of favorites, a DVD boxed set of his "Concerts from Hell" (The Vintage Years) was released last fall containing three specials: "I'm Exhausted," originally airing on HBO earned him an ACE nomination for Best Stand-Up Comedy Special; “I'm Doomed,” his second for HBO, also earned an Ace nomination. Their predecessor and his debut, "I'm In Pain," aired on Showtime.

Not only is he loved for his rare form of stand-up comedy, but he has global hordes of TV-viewing fans from his numerous late night appearances, his four season series Anything But Love (which now has the first 2 seasons out on one DVD), and from his many guest appearances on other prime time hits. Topping off the ‘creative output,’ Richard also added “author” to his name in 2000 with a baring-it-all memoir called “The Other Great Depression,” now also in paperback.

Lewis will also soon be featured in the book “I'm Dying Up Here,” which chronicles the collective coming of age of the standup comedians who defined American humor over three decades (Letterman, Leno, Robin Williams, Andy Kaufman, etc.) and is also featured in a book on the making of Curb Your Enthusiasm. A long overdue acknowledgment has also been recognized, The Yale Book of Quotations, in their newest edition, attributes to him the now-common phrase, “the ____ from hell,” as in his infamous fine whine, “I had a date from hell.’ To close, in his own words--"I go on a long tour and make people happy that they're not me and go home."

Godsmack

June 2

Time: 8:00pm
Prices: $80, $75, $65, $55
On Sale: NOW

In February of 1995, after being behind the drums for more than 23 years, Sully Erna decided to start a new band. It was only a matter of time before he realized he needed to take charge and step out from behind the kit to front the band himself.

One year and a couple of member changes later Godsmack was born. Sully Erna, Robbie Merrill and Tony Rombola hit the studio and recorded their first CD titled ALL WOUND UP. They did this over one weekend for a measly twenty six-hundred dollars.

Over the next two years, the band played throughout the Boston scene with drummer Joe Darco and began earning a strong reputation of being a great live band. The noise they were making in the New England area created a snowball effect like no other.

Godsmack began drawing in bigger and bigger audiences to their live shows. Their CD began circulating through the streets of Boston and eventually landed in the hands of a DJ for WAAF, a Boston radio station. WAAF put "Keep Away" into heavy rotation and it quickly soared to the #1 spot at the station. Newbury Comics, a New England record store chain, agreed to sell the CD on consignment and the grind continued. Shortly after the success of "Keep Away" Godsmack went back into the studio and recorded a single titled "Whatever", which became the new local favorite on WAAF. It took off in the blink of an eye and the race was on.

Daniel O'Donnell

June 8

Time:8:00pm
Prices: $85, $80, $70, $60
On Sale: NOW

Accolades, acclaim and success. These are some of constants that make up Daniel O’Donnell’s life. As each year passes, further achievements come his way … more successful concert tours, more chart records, more television appearances. These days it seems that the successes are no longer surprises and the achievements of Ireland’s most popular “easy on the ear” entertainer is taken for granted. Yet the superstar remains as excited and enthused as when he first launched his career.

One of Ireland’s most popular exports, the dawning of the new decade has provided a different element to his life and given Daniel genuine acknowledgement of his achievements. Recognized for his “services to the music industry”, he was awarded an Honorary MBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honors list. It was an event that he took in his stride, just as modestly as his various achievements of preceding years but one, nevertheless, that he accepted with very obvious pride.

With the MBE added to a staggering list of awards and achievements collected during a career that’s now into its’ amazing third decade, Daniel O’Donnell is broadening his horizons even further - the American audiences appear to be every bit as enthusiastic as his home-grown fans. Already well known to genre audiences through regular appearances in Branson and playing concerts in locations with predominantly Irish audiences, the superstar has been charming mass audiences with U.S. television specials. The most recent of such TV specials saw Daniel host a live four hour show, titled The Daniel O’Donnell Show, which was transmitted nationwide in November 2004 to an estimated audience of 68 million people.

Ricky Skaggs
Marty Stuart
Del McCoury Band

June 29

Time: 8:00pm
Prices: $55, $50, $45, $40
On Sale: NOW

Ricky Skaggs

Sometimes in life, things come full circle. That's the story of Ricky Skaggs. By age 21, he was already considered a "recognized master" of one of America's most demanding art forms, but his career took him in other directions, catapulting him to popularity and success in the mainstream of country music. Now the road has brought him back to where it all began – bluegrass music.

2007 marks Ricky's 36th year as a professional musician, and this twelve-time Grammy Award winner continues to do his part to lead the recent roots revival in music. Known affectionately today as bluegrass music's official ambassador, Ricky has brought the genre to greater levels of popularity in the past few years than the father of bluegrass music, the legendary Bill Monroe, could ever have imagined. With eight consecutive Grammy-nominated classics behind him, all from his own Skaggs Family Records label (Bluegrass Rules! in 1998, Ancient Tonesin 1999, both Soldier of the Cross and Big Mon: The Songs of Bill Monroe in 2000, History of the Future in 2001, Live at the Charleston Music Hall in 2003, Brand New Strings in 2005, and Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder Instrumentals in 2007), bluegrass music is undoubtedly in good hands, with the masterful Skaggs at the helm.

Marty Stuart

Marty Stuart is country music’s renaissance man. He has scored six top-ten hits, one platinum and five gold albums, and four Grammy Awards. But his success proves the difficulty of gauging a career in charts alone. He has made lasting music as a front man and in collaboration with virtually every major roots music figure of his era, from Lester Flatt to Bob Dylan. He has evangelized for country music around the world, eulogized the departed legends of the field, and identified and encouraged talents of the future. Stuart has produced records for some of the most distinguished artists working today, and many famous names have chosen to record his songs. Stuart's energetic enthusiasm has gone outside music, yielding impressive work as a photographer, writer, collector and arts executive.

With the launch of his Superlatone Records imprint backed by Universal South Entertainment, Marty Stuart opens the most ambitious chapter yet. Keen to broaden the scope of his life-long passion to uncover the depths and eccentricities of Southern culture, Stuart now finds himself in the opening stages of combining music and the arts to continue his ambitious story.

Del McCoury Band

Delano Floyd McCoury was born in Bakersville, North Carolina on February 1, 1939. At an early age, the McCoury family relocated north, just above the Mason-Dixon Line in York County, Pennsylvania. It was his older brother G.C. who introduced the young Del to bluegrass through the music of Flatt and Scruggs. "I learned to play music from my older brother, and we always listened to the Grand Ole Opry. In 1950, he bought some 78 RPMs, and one of them was Flatt and Scruggs. When I heard them playing 'Rolling in My Sweet Baby's Arms,' I just couldn't leave that record alone?I wore it out!" Del was so impressed by bluegrass music that he decided to take up the banjo. Although members of the extended McCoury family were versed in old-time music and clawhammer style, finding pickers familiar with the then-new Scruggs style proved more difficult. "Not many people played banjo like Scruggs. I didn't know anyone who played three-finger style, so I had to learn from records."
