South Coast becomes South Point Casino
The South Coast Casino no longer exists in Las Vegas. As of Tuesday, the hotel-casino is now being called South Point.
The change comes as Michael Gaughan, the founder of the Coast Casino Company, is buying the South Point.
Last Thursday, Gaughan was given final approval by the state gaming commission to buy the South Point in exchange for his shares of Boyd stock.
Boyd Gaming bought the Coast Casino company two years ago. The signage outside the property won't be changed for a couple of weeks. |
