Spirit Mountain Casino Begins South Expansion

Expansion Project Includes Entertainment & Events Center, Conference Space and New Coyote's Buffet

Officials at Spirit Mountain Casino were joined by esteemed members of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde at a groundbreaking ceremony Feb. 5th commencing an expansion project that will usher the return of major entertainment acts, such as concerts and bingo.

The South Expansion Project will encompass 135,196 square feet and include a new, larger Coyote's Buffet. The two-story structure will feature an events/entertainment center, conference rooms and include internal office space for the Human Resources department and the Grand Ronde Gaming Commission, which are currently housed off-property. Additionally a new 16,000-square foot Youth Activity Center will house the casino's current kids' zone Playworld and the Arcade and an additional 700 parking spaces will push the casino's capacity to more than 3,600.

"In terms of customer service, our aim is to fulfill expectations of being a first-rate regional entertainment destination and we are achieving that goal by expanding our non-gaming amenities", says Spirit Mountain General Manager Randy Dugger. "I believe our guests will be excited to see big time concerts, events and shows coming back in addition to the return of bingo."

Spirit Mountain Casino is owned and operated by the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and can operate up to 2,000 slot machines, in addition to offering other games such as blackjack, craps, roulette, poker and keno.
