The Venetian is Running Satellites This Weekend
The VenetianThis season of the National Poker League is winding down as the $15,000 buy-in Tournament of Champions begins on Monday.
Winners from each event at all NPL stops, including the United Kingdom Open, Asia Open, Australian Open, and Vegas Open, will converge in The Venetian\'s poker room at 1 p.m. on Dec. 3 to compete in the NPL Championship. The event is open to the public, and players can qualify for $1,060 by playing in satellites this weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, The Venetian is hosting megasatellites at 3 p.m. and will award as many seats as the prize pools allow.
Today, the $5,000 buy-in Vegas Open event began. The winner of this event will be the last to receive a seat as an NPL champion into Monday’s televised event.
