Survivor Open Call Date: Sunday, January 20th, 2008 See more dates! Time: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Venue: Riverdome SURVIVOR 17 OPEN CALL Sunday, January 20th, 2007 10am to 1pm Limited to first 1000 applicants or 1 pm, whichever comes first. In the Riverdome at the Horseshoe Casino & Hotel. This is your chance to see if you can be a Survivor. The doors to the Riverdome will open at 10 am. At 1 pm, no one else will be allowed to enter the line or once 1000 people have been reached, no more will be allowed to participate. Here are some of the guidelines (Complete details can be found on the Survivor application): All contestants must be 21 years or older at the time of application All contestants must be United States citizens and be living in the United States All contestants must be in excellent physical and mental health All applicants must authorize Producers to conduct a background check All semi-finalists must have a valid United States passport Contestants will be selected based upon having the following traits: Strong-willed Outgoing Adventurous Physically and mentally adept Adaptable to new environments Interesting lifestyles, backgrounds and personalities People will enter the Riverdome from the outside entrance. Horseshoe will provide a place for people to purchase food and drinks near the entrance. People will have to bring to the open call: 1.) A completed application which can be downloaded here. 2.) A photo of themselves. 3.) A passport or an application for a passport. (The passport/application for passport is not required at this time but is necessary to be on the show). KSLA News 12 will be there to videotape each applicant. Each person will have up to 2 minutes to talk about themselves on camera. Talk about why you should be on Survivor: who is your favorite Survivor? How would you play the game?, etc. There will be no "Start Overs" so be prepared.
