The Black Eyed Peas ‘Get It Started’ at Mohegan Sun Arena


Tickets go on sale Friday for the Sept. 14 Black Eyed Peas performance at the Uncasville casino.

Their energetic, hip-hop spirit takes the Mohegan Sun Arena stage for a 7 p.m. show.


Tickets are $65 and $45 and go on sale at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster customers may log on to ticketmaster.com; call any Ticketmaster Charge By Phone number; or visit any Ticketmaster outlet.

Tickets will be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office Saturday, subject to availability.

With music that is inspired by soul, jazz and Latin put to a hip-hop beat The Black Eyed Peas have won over fans worldwide. What began as a break dancing group out of Los Angeles in the 1990s evolved into the present group, releasing their first album in 1995 entitled “Beyond The Front.”

This album received critical acclaim, but it was not until the release of their third album, and the addition of a new group member, that they became a commercial success.

Their third album entitled “Elephunk” produced three top 40 hits including “Where Is The Love,” “Hey Mama,” and “Let’s Get it Started.”

Their forth album released in 2005 entitled “Monkey Business” featured the huge hit “My Humps.”
