Vote YES for gaming in WyCo
Recent state legislation has opened the door for one destination resort casino somewhere in Wyandotte county and slots at The Woodlands. The next step requires Wyandotte County to hold a county-wide ballot initiative to approve the two gaming opportunities. This special election will occur June 26.
A YES vote on both of these questions will:
Generate a minimum of $10 million in new tax revenue for the county. This new revenue will allow further investment in community needs, which could include public safety, streets and roads, education, and tax relief.
Will create approximately 1,500 permanent and 2,500 construction jobs. |
