Third Annual B.C. Poker Championship Set for Nov. 18-25

Estimated Prize Pool to Exceed $3.6 Million
A week of tournament play is scheduled for Nov. 18-25 at the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond, British Columbia, for the Third-Annual B.C. Poker Championship. Because of last year’s turnout, the British Columbia Lottery Corporation is expecting over $3.6 million in prize-pool money.
The following is the tournament schedule:
Nov. 18 — $550 buy-in ladies-only no-limit hold’em
Nov. 19 — $1,100 buy-in no-limit hold’em
Nov. 20 — $1,100 buy-in pot-limit hold’em
Nov. 21 — Main event supersatellite
Nov. 22-25 — $2,700 no-limit hold’em main event
Players can qualify for these events for cheaper by playing in satellites available at the following British Columbia casinos: River Rock Casino Resort, Boulevard Casino, Edgewater Casino, Cascades Casino, Great Canadian Casino View Royal, Lake City Casino Penticton, Casino of the Rockies, and Treasure Cove Casino and Hotel. |
