Cincinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers

An old time rivalry comes to Heinz Field tonight as the Bungels face the new version of the Steel Curtain. This one looks like a layup and an easy winner for the Steel dogs. But don't take away what Cincy's done in recent weeks. They have won and tied the past two looking better as the weeks go by. Cincy tied Philly last week in one of the ugliest offensive performances by both teams i've seen in a long time, but at least the Bengals knew there was no second overtime... Donovan, Donovan ... geez. On the other side Pittsburgh won again at home but did not cover once again, ok hold the insults and anger , maybe they DID cover but not paid out cover. That leaves the Steelers at 1-4 ATS at home this season. They have failed to cover small lines of 3,3 1/2 , 4 and 5. The Steelers D has looked dominating and they beat Cincy back in week 7 by 4 TD's, but that can also set up a revenge factor. Now the stat for me that stands out in this one is that double digit dogs this season at 16-1 covering the spread ... yes that was 16-1 !! It just seems that once you count a team out they remember they still are professionals and play in the NFL. Also remember that Philly was in a "must win" situation last week, yet could not muster an offense against this Cincy defense. Big Ben looked good throwing the ball last week and Fast Willie should be back running hard but I think the Steelers will be happy with a close tight win, but I don't know if the Bengals can ever let them keep it close. The Bengals have been averaging 13.8 ppg and I'm not sure they will even get that many in this one. There are a number of injuries for the Bengals , call 1-888-850-8211 for injury news. The Steelers on the other hand moved the ball well but now are on a 6 quarter drought of no touchdowns so they will want to punch it in. The weather could be a factor with near freezing temps but not much wind , calling for 10-15 mph. If any weather changes call that number and will be updated until kickoff. 1-888-850-8211. So with all that said I would expect Pittsburgh to blow this team out, but I am hesitant because of that miraculous 16-1 ats as double digit dogs. The total is very low sitting at 34, but could be warranted because of the injury and weather news. I don't think so as the last time these teams went under 34 was November 11th, 2004. 8 consecutive games have totaled 34 points or more, including a 38-10 win for the Steelers in Week 7. I'll take the OVER
