Tournament Tuesdays

Join us every Tuesday for our exciting Blackjack Tournaments! Total prize money per tournament is a guaranteed $2000! Register at the Players Club on the day of the tournament. Stop by the Players Club for complete details.

Registration will begin at 4 PM on the day of the tournament and continue until the start of the final session. The tournament will take place each Tuesday during the year of 2006. The tournament will be held on four (4) - six (6) blackjack tables. The tournament starts at 5 PM and will finish by approximately 9 PM. The entry fee is $20. Complimentary (waived) entry fee may be permitted at discretion of management. One entry per round per person. Cash re-buys only $20 per re-buy. All entrants must arrive at the tournament pit for the qualifying round at least 10 minutes before the beginning of each round. You must check in at your assigned table and seat. Late participants are disqualified without a refund. The following will be the progression to the final round: The top winner from each table in the preliminary rounds will advance to the semi-final round. At least one top winner from each table in the semi-final round will advance to the final round. The Tournament Director before the beginning of the final round will make this determination. Each entrant will receive $500 in non-value tournament chips per round. The playing round will consist of 20 hands of Blackjack with a minimum bet of $10 and a maximum bet of $5,000. There will be a countdown at the end of 15 hands. The dealer will make an announcement with five (5) hands left to play. Players must play every hand. If a player is unable to bet the minimum, that player is disqualified. In the event of a tie, each player involved will receive $500 in chips and there will be a 5-hand playoff. This will continue until a winner is determined. The prize structure is as follows: 1st place - $1,000, 2nd place - $500, 3rd place - $200, 4th place $150, 5th place - $100, 6th place - $25, 7th place - $25, for each Tuesday of the tournament. There will be a rotation marker used to determine the start of each hand. The initial starting position will be determined by dealing a card to each person prior to the start of the competition in order from left to right and the highest card is where the first hand will begin. If the same value cards are dealt, first out of the shoe is highest. The position in which the marker sits at the beginning of each hand must place their bets first and betting will be made in a clockwise direction. A player may elect to go out of turn by their own choice, but when a bet is placed into the betting area, the player may not change or alter their bet. It is suggested that all bets be set outside the betting circle and when the bet is correct, push the entire bet into the circle. Tournament chips must remain in front of players separated by denomination and in the view of all the players. In the event of a misdeal, players will not be given the opportunity to back out of the hand. Collusion among players or help from spectators is prohibited and will result in disqualification. The seventh spot in the finals will be determined by a wild card drawing. All entries in the tournament will be eligible. Entrants will have one (1) minute to claim wild card entry. Cards will be hand shuffled and hand dealt from a shoe. If you are a designated winner in any particular round, you will be advised what table and seat number you are to report to in the subsequent round. If a Player should leave the table in the middle of a round, that player will be disqualified. If the minimum number of entrants (48) fail to register for this promotion, Eldorado Resort Casino reserves the right to cancel this promotion and/or change the prize structure accordingly with prior written authorization from the Division. If more than (100) entrants participate in this promotion, the prize structure will be increased accordingly. Eldorado Resort Casino reserves the right to refuse entry or cancel or revise tournament with prior written authorization from the Division. Must be 21 years or older in order to participate. If the tournament should be cancelled for any reason, all entry fees will be returned to the registrants. Must be a member of Club Eldorado. Membership is free. Eldorado Resort Casino Management will be the sole judge in the event of a dispute and all decisions will be final. Employees of Eldorado Resort Casino are not eligible to participate. The prizes awarded are not considered Marketing Expenses, but any entry fees that are comped will be deducted as a Marketing Expense. Gambling Problem? Call 1-877-770-STOP.

We have attempted to cover every rule, procedure and circumstance that may occur during the tournament. In the event a decision is necessary that is not covered by the above, the Tournament Director will make that decision and that decision will be final.
