ROCKY BOY (AP) Workers have broken ground for a tribal casino on U.S. 87 about 13 miles south of Havre. Leaders of the Chippewa Cree Indian Tribe anticipate a November opening and say the Northern Winz casino, for which ground was broken Thursday, will generate about 50 permanent jobs. The casino will be the tribe's first. Profits will go to health care, education and programs for children and the elderly, officials said. Plans call for 400 gambling machines, a restaurant and a sports bar. The tribe anticipates eventual construction of a hotel, a convention center and other facilities.
