Two-Day FTOPS V Event Starts Saturday
Qualifiers to $2,620 No-Limit Event Still Taking Place
Tomorrow, Full Tilt Poker holds its first two-day tournament as part of its fifth installment of its FTOPS series.
The $2,620 no-limit event, which is hosted by Phil Ivey, has a guaranteed prize pool of $600,000. As of Friday afternoon, more than 80 players were entered. First place will top $155,000.
The tournament starts at 3 p.m. ET Saturday, Aug. 18. Once only 18 players are left (or until the blind levels reach level 15), play will be suspended until 3 p.m. the next day. Players start with 5,000 chips and blinds are 30 minutes long.
There are still plenty of qualifying opportunities to get into this major event for much less than $2,620. Visit Full Tilt Poker's lobby for this tournament to see the list of qualifiers. A $535 mega turbo-satellite is scheduled to take place tomorrow, and satellites for this start at $75.
Players can use Full Tilts extensive tournament qualifier ticket program to win a $75 token, and sats start as low as $4.40.
