RICHMOND, VA. -- Two lucky Georgia lottery players who purchased a Win for Life tickets are each now eligible to claim a 52-thousand dollar prize.
One ticket sold in Newport News, Virginia, was the top winner in the latest Win For Life drawing, Virginia lottery officials said today.
The winning numbers Saturday were 3, 7, 8, 11, 14, 26 and Free Ball 18. Those who match the six main numbers win $1,000 a week for life.
Officials said three tickets purchased in Danville, Va., St. Marys, Ga., and Hapeville, Ga., matched five of the numbers plus the free ball to win $52,000.
Another 57 tickets matched five numbers. Each of them is worth six-hundred dollars.
Win For Life tickets are sold in Virginia, Georgia and Kentucky. |
