Casino news source: CNN Money - http://money.cnn.com Vegas Casino Sale Pending MTR Expects to Sell Vegas Casino by February December 06, 2007: 12:03 PM EST NEW YORK (Associated Press) - MTR Gaming Group expects to sell its Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel in Las Vegas by February. The $32 million cash deal with TLC Casino Enterprises is subject to regulatory approval, but MTR said Thursday it expects both the Nevada Gaming Control Board and Nevada Gaming Commission to consider the sale next month. MTR also has a North Las Vegas property under contract for sale. The company decided to sell its Nevada properties so it could concentrate on its holdings in West Virginia, Pennsylvania and the Midwest. MTR expects to launch casino-style table games at its flagship property, Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort in Chester, on Dec. 20. The company also operates a track and slots operation in Pennsylvania and has interests in Ohio, Michigan and Minnesota.
