I often like to check out the rates on big casinos in the weekend paper for the week day stay rates. Sometimes I prefer a quieter casino. And the traffic on the road to Las Vegas is definitely less hassle Monday thru Thursday. And you meet a different type of person, not just the typical weekend partier/player.

I like the casinos on a weekday too. We got married in Niagara Falls and we went to their casino on a Thursday afternoon...it was quiet and we could move around without being surrounded by other gamblers. My mother in law travels to West Virginia to gamble and she always goes on a Monday.

I never really have the chance to get into a casino on a week-day, so I have to settle for the week-end casino time. I have been to busy lately, and I have been very tired, as well. I will attempt to go though, might be less packed.

I'm sure that the weekends are just more convenient for most people, since that is when most people tend to take vacation trips to casinos. I am just worried about going on a day when it's jam-packed, wall-to-wall people, since I am a bit claustrophobic. Is it less crowded on a weekend afternoon than it is in the evening?

Gambling on the week days has been pretty good to me. I prefer to be in the casinos around here when there are less people. So much easier to get around, without bumping into people a lot. Also, tables are often more open. No more waiting around!

Aren't there more older people there during the week? In Laughlin it doesn't matter what day of the week it is, the majority of the players are older.

I like to go during the week, because the crowd tends to be less rowdy. Most people will drink more of a weekend because they don't have to work, and therefore are a little louder.

I do prefer a quieter casino, and I'm also guilty of drinking more of a weekend - which makes me more likely to go over my preset gambling limit.

Wow, I sound really boring, but trust me, I get carried away far too easily if I don't set myself a limit.
