I was just reading a post on WCD about some folks winning the lotto... and as we all do, I started thinking of all the things I would do if I won.. What would you do?

Funny, I was discussing that the other day as our state lotto is 100+ million.

I would:

1) Own my house and everything in it. That way I ALWAYS have a place to go.

2) Take care of CLOSE family members. 2-3 cousins out...sorry.

3) Start a few small businesses - why? Need the tax right offs.

4) Blow about $500,000 on stupid S^&%!

5) See if I could be the one that could spend it all!

I would quit my jobs (sorry Bernie ) and probably try to buy my husband out of the Marine Corps - LOL! I'd then move back home and share some of the money with friends and family. I'd invest most of it, but probably use some to take a very nice vacation to Vegas.

Oh, and I'd buy a new car. I have a truck now that is nice, but I am just not a truck girl. However, since it runs well and is paid for, I hate to think of getting something new. But, if I won the lottery...I could afford it!

First I'd pay off all of the bill my husband and I have. Then I'd buy us a house and new car (or maybe 2 new cars). Then I'd start getting the family out of debt. I'd see that everybody was comfortable and taken care of. Then I'd invest some money so I could be certain there would always be enough there to support the whole family so we could all just get together and have fun and not have to worry about working anymore.

I'd pay some bills and then pretty much go crazy

I will spend it all off...

First, I'd book a 12-14 day Hawaiin cruise immediately for my family and me. And I would surprise them with the news of my lottery winnings. More than likely, they'd be most excited when I would tell them of the portion they were going to receive.

Then I'd finish the additions to our house.

I would invest in land in our area. I would also donate some to good causes.

I'm sure there is more, but nothing else comes to mind. right now.
