Return to Online Poker Room Reviews

Titan Poker is a fledgling online poker site, not very old, but it is part of the ever growing Ipoker Network (powered by Playtech Casino Software). The traffic there is growing at a good clip, but it is not quite like the bigger poker rooms. I think the most ring game traffic I’ve seen reported at Titan Poker was between 1100 and 1300 people during primetime. I do think that is awesome for an up and comer in the online poker game.

Poker Game Selection at Titan Poker

Titan Poker has a decent game variety. Texas Hold’em is by far the game of choice here. They also offer Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo. All these games are offered in limit, pot limit, and no limit. They have heads up ring games available as well as Sit and Go and Multi table tournaments. The schedule tournament selection is growing but is still in its infancy if you will.

Titan Poker's Competition & Tournaments

The competition at Titan Poker is quite easy (so far). Most of the games are played in the no limit hold’em ranks. Players seeing the flop is usually around the 50% range. I noticed that alot of the players tend to back off in the face of aggressive play. Although not always, so player beware. The majority of the players come from Play Tech casinos, and casino players are notoriously softer competition so if you are a hard core player you should be fairly successful in the event you don’t run cold.

Titan Poker Freeroll Tournaments

Here is the bread and butter of the jackpot player. Titan Poker offers various tournaments (sit and go’s), that offer additional prizes for winning 4-5-6 in a row of the given jackpot level. They are not hard to find, and are promoted very aggressively by the site. The fixed tournament schedule leaves something to be desired as some of the bigger sites clearly have more to offer. The tournaments are as soft as the ring games though and it is not hard to at least get a cash in a tourney here.

Titan Poker VIP Program

Titan Poker offers a pretty good rewards program. You earn stars for each hand dealt between 1-8 per hand. After you reach a certain amount you move up from silver to gold etc. The higher level you are the more stars you earn. Although I am not sure what they use the stars for right now, I’m sure they will offer a store similar to the CG store here.

Titan Poker: Bonuses

They offer various bonuses here. You can find one by going to their site or by doing a bonus search via yahoo or google. Bonuses are cleared by earning stars and then are given out in $10 increments. It is not the best way to earn a bonus but it works.

Summary of Titan Poker website

Titan Poker is a great site for the beginner and experienced poker player alike. Although tournament selection is low the Sit and Go traffic is good. Their bonus offers are outstanding but the way to clear the bonus is rigourous and time consuming. If you play 4-6 hours daily though you could clear a bonus in a week or two especially if you multi table.

Final Verdict for Titan Poker:

7 out of 10 -- I would give Titan Poker a try. It is a well rounded online poker room with all the standard features, 24 hours toll free support and part of a respected network of poker rooms.
