OCEAN SHORES, Wash. (AP) — Police say two officers were choked and bitten when they tried to break up a fight Tuesday night between a 42-year-old woman and her 24-year-old daughter in Ocean Shores. Chief of Public Safety Mike Styner tells KBKW both officers were treated at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen after making the arrests.

An early morning fire caused significant damage to the Galway Bay Irish Restaurant and Pub building in Ocean Shores, but fire crews stopped the blaze before it damaged much of the main pub area. Lt.
