Pacific County Emergency Management officials are conducting three meetings this week about the expected debris from last year’s Japanese tsunami washing up on the Washington coast. The meetings are intended to help determine how potentially hazardous some of the debris might be and what to do with it if someone finds something that requires immediate attention.

The Pacific County Emergency Management Agency has rescheduled three public presentations about the potential impact to coastal communities from marine debris generated by the March 2011 Japanese tsunami.
