The Black Bear Casino Resort is located on the  Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Reservation at 1785 Highway 210, in Carlton, Minnesota. Guests who wish to play at both casinos owned and operated by the tribe can take advantage of the accommodations and shuttle service from the resort to play at the Fond-du-Luth Casino in nearby downtown Duluth.

The property includes a 408-room hotel featuring a 10,000 sq. ft. indoor pool complex with a 25x50 foot swimming pool, two hot tubs, and sauna, gift shop, arcade, 18-hole championship par-72 course with Pro Shop and full-service snack shop. Other amenities include three restaurants and a coffee shop, nightclub and cabaret and 17,650 sq ft of meeting and event space.
