Casino Mahjong at The Soaltee Kathmandu (formerly known as Casino Nepal) opened again with full services on February 6, 2015. The casino is owned by Mahjong Entertainment who also operate a similarly named casino in Sakkim, India. The casino itself is roomy enough at about 4,500 square feet, and offers slots and table games around the clock in an elegant atmosphere.

The surrounding hotel facility is a four star resort that has hosted royalty, celebrities, and dignitaries throughout the years. Dining and entertainment options include four restaurants and an opulent lobby lounge.
