Yelp, you need to offer a zero star rating! This place is awful. I use to frequent Goldie’s back when they had a poker room and I really enjoyed the place. They had a fun stuff, decent food and passed out comps as much as they did cards. Well, they got rid of the poker room... and just about anything else positive this place had to offer. New management took over and the place has steadily been going down hill. The only good thing that has stuck around is the cheap, stiff drinks. But I am convinced this is just to numb up the senses to all the atrocities around you. This last time I went in I ordered a burger which I regretted at first bite. The patty itself was lukewarm. And I'm not talking about the center. The first bite! I tried another bite but when I looked down the meat was still pink. That was my last bite of that burger and food from Goldie’s. Now I wouldn't care that much if it was free/comped but I didn't get one. When I use to play cards for a few hours at a time with several hundred dollars on the table I would get asked if I was hungry. If I was, they would gladly give me a comp. Now you have to ask for one. Maybe it's just me but this feels awkward. It's also strange not being able to talk to the dealer. Knowing the English language should be a mandatory qualification, not a "resume builder." Seriously though, I like to communicate with the people who are dealing me cards, giving and taking my money lol. But maybe it’s better off if they have half of the attitude the pit bosses do. I have encountered two that are down right rude. One of which has no business working with people, much less being the "boss" of anyone. You know it’s bad when several employees are openly talking crap about the boss to strangers. One comment was referring to breaking the boss mans glasses. I heard that if you don't wear your glasses for a period of time your eyesight can actually improve...well not this place. It has no vision. Overall, just a skeezy casino.
