This casino and former "budget hotel" in Mwanza, Tanzania, has undergone an amazing transformation with a recent refurbishment and now boasts opulent accents of marble and gilt in the 19th Century style. There are now 54 rooms with bathrooms en suite, satellite TV, air conditioning, and internet access. Hotel amenities include a fitness center, swimming pool, gym, sauna and steam room.
The most popular amenity is of course King's Casino. It is here that you will find a number of gaming tables and slot machines along with a twenty four hour coffee shop and the Blue Moon. Blue Moon is a restaurant with a breakfast buffet and Indian Cuisine during the week and weekend days, and becomes a disco on weekend nights and during special events.
Meeting and conference facilities include three air-conditioned venues with audio/visual equipment and public address systems. The self contained rooms hold between 30 and 300 attendees depending upon which one you choose for your meeting or event.

Gaming at Kings Casino
There is a small but nice gaming lounge, Kings Casino, on the first floor of the New Mwanza Hotel. Kings Casino is licensed for 40 slot machines but currently host just 36 machines. There are eight table games here. Three tables are reserved for poker, plus there are three roulette, and three blackjack tables (which are also used for Pontoon). There is a nice bar and if you're a player - at least one drink is on the house. Soft drinks, tea and coffee are always free.
The slots are open daily from 1:00pm until 4:00am. The casino itself (meaning table games) is open Monday through Friday from 9:00pm until 2:00am, and on Saturday and Sunday stays open until 4:00am.
