Located in Cripple Creek, Colorado, 44 miles from Colorado Springs and 110 miles from Denver, Wildwood Hotel & Casino is one of the newest properties to open in this former gold mining camp turned gambling resort mecca. At an elevation of 9,593 feet, the casino is billed as the "highest casino in the world." Adjacent to what is Cripple creek's largest single casino, the 101-room Wildwood hotel opened in June 2021 and features six suites as well as a spacious lobby and 2,800 square feet of meeting and event space. Lodging is also available at the nearby (approx. 4-min walk) 67-room Gold King Mountain Inn, which offers an indoor pool, game room, fitness center, and a 24-hour front desk.
Visitors can also choose from two casual restaurants.
The casino is open 24/7 and is about as close to Las Vegas-style gambling as you will get in Cripple Creek. Players will find an amazing variety among the 513 slots and video poker games, and "the most table games in Cripple Creek." Visitors can choose from craps, roulette, blackjack variations, a few popular house-banked poker options, and electronic table games. Woody's Sportsbook is the casino's latest addition and located at Woody’s Sports Bar and Grill, where you will find drinks, food, and betting kiosks.
