Opened in April 2005, Wynn Las Vegas on South Las Vegas Boulevard enjoys a centralized location with Encore, The Palazzo and The Venetian all within walking distance. The five-star resort's 614-foot high hotel has 45 floors and 2,716 rooms, including suites, apartments and villas. The complex also has a convention center with 560,720 square feet of space and approximately 160,000 square feet of retail space. Combined with sister property, Encore, which is located adjacent to WLV, the entire Wynn resort complex has a total of 4,748 rooms.

Some of the prices on the suites are not for the faint of heart, but if you like to do your lodging and gaming in sinful luxury, the Wynn can accommodate. This place is a real treat just to stroll around even when you are not gaming. Stroll over to the other side of the man made mountain and enjoy the waterfalls which pour into a three acre lake! - Amazing!

Enjoy a bite to eat at more than 20 dining options, or stay in and take advantage of the resort's 24-hour room service. Relax with your favorite drink at a bar/lounge or a poolside bar. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and audiovisual equipment. Event facilities at this resort consist of conference/meeting rooms, small meeting rooms, and a ballroom. 

Pamper yourself with a visit to The Spa at Wynn, which offers body treatments and facials while the Fitness Center offers both cardio and strength training equipment. The golfer in the family will appreciate the 6,722-yard, par-70 championship length course, and you can also enjoy above-par recreational amenities such as the 111,000 sq ft of gaming space, with more than 1,800 slots, including high limit slots, 180 table games, a Race & Sportsbook and 28-table poker room.  

This resort also features gift shops/newsstands, a hair salon, and 160,000 square

Wynn Poker Room

The Wynn Las Vegas Poker Room is second to none and a favorite mostly of high rollers. All players will find management courteous, the food above par, and the waitresses easy on the eye. One thing to look out for is that the skill level of players is often well above average. If you enjoy a challenge, this room is for you. You will find a wide range of game spreads such as No-limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha Hi.

It's a 28-table non-smoking poker room which is elegant and modern with decor and details as nice as we've seen.  The room itself isn't huge but feels spacious with plenty of room between the tables.

The Wynn offers the games listed above as well as higher limit hold 'em and Omaha, some kill games and mixed games on occasion.  We found the $2/5 NL game populated by local "pros" and playing tougher than the games elsewhere in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.  The proximity and ease of parking make the room popular with local players.

Daily tournaments feature $95,000 per week in guaranteed prize pools.

All the tables have automatic shufflers and the wait-lists are posted on plasma screens in the room and channel 29 of your hotel room TV.  In addition, the tables and chairs are new and comfortable.

The staff is accommodating and knowledgeable and goes out of their way to make the players, especially the regulars and high-limit players, feel comfortable.  The dealers are professional and efficient; in 5 hours of play, we didn't see a misdeal.  The tables are well attended by attractive waitresses and high quality food can be ordered at the tables.

*Cash and tournament play is held in the poker room located at the Encore.

Final note:  The Wynn hotel is the best on the strip; it's elegant with incredible attention to detail.  The standard room is smaller than the suites -- only rooms of Las Vegas but larger than most standard rooms on the Strip.  The bathroom and bathtub are enormous; your wife or girlfriend will love them.  The spa is one of the nicest anywhere; it's an excellent place to burn off the stress of that set over set beat.

One of very few places you will be able to get served authentic Japanese Kobe Beef, so it's a great time to try out the Teppanyaki table. The Buffet at Wynn Las Vegas - has 16 distinct live-action stations featuring cuisines from all over the world, serving buffet breakfast, brunch and dinner. Open Mon & Thurs and Fri-Sun.

The Café - located alongside the casino floor at Wynn, the café serves a wide variety of espresso and specialty coffee drinks alongside breakfast pastries, sandwiches, salads and desserts. Open 24 hours.

Located in the mall that connects Wynn Las Vegas with Encore Las Vegas, XS Nightclub is a megaclub featuring superstar resident DJs like The Chainsmokers, David Guetta, Kygo and Marshmello. Party goers will also find two unique experiences from bottle service on the dance floor to luxury cabanas surrounding the Encore pool. Eastside Lounge

The luxurious Eastside Lounge features hand-crafted cocktails and lite bite appetizers and specialties, as well as amazing views of the Encore resort pool. You can't miss the Lobby Bar, where a grand golden sculpture of Daphne, a nymph in Greek mythology, who, according to sources was chased by the god Apollo and in her attempt to evade him was transformed into a laurel tree, is drenched in red and gold. Parasol Down

Just a spiral escalator ride down from its sister lounge, Parasol Down is shaded in areas by multicolored parasols, with views of Lake of Dreams' 40-foot waterfall rushing down a pine-topped mountain. Guests enjoy cocktails and a menu of small plates like Tuna Tartare and Garden Vegetable Crudite and sweets either inside or on the patio when weather permits. Tower Suite Bar

More like a well-dressed living room, the Tower Suite Bar is a favorite gathering place for Wynn guests and travelers who relax in comfortable sofas and lounge chairs while sipping on Champaign, a signature Old Fashioned and a variety of small plates and specialties. Tower Suite Bar is a great spot to meet for apéritif before a fine dining experience at Tableau. Open Sun - Thurs from 6am to midnight and Fri & Sat from 6am to 2am. Dress is resort casual. Meeting & Event Space

Between Wynn Las Vegas and Encore Las Vegas, there is a total of 560,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, including 260,000
square feet of flexible meeting space, three luxurious ballrooms ranging in size from 20,500 to 50,000
square feet, 39 meeting rooms and outdoor areas like the pavilion and garden event grounds. The facilities can accommodate corporate conferences for 25 or an elaborate event for 6,000. 

Overlook Lounge

Both oppulent and cozy, Overlook Lounge at Wynn Las Vegas sits atop the Lake of Dreams, so, of course, guests have amazing views, while the glamorous hideaway offers a menu of aperitifs, spirits and bespoke cocktails. Open daily from 2pm to 4am. *Resort casual dress required.
