I loved this Hotel. The people were friendly. The food was great. Loved the chocolate chip cookies. The room was clean, nice flat screen TV and the bed was comfortable. It was great to take a swim and go into the hot tub. I even played games in the game room. I also appreciated the free pamphlets that helped me navigate through Wilmington. It was great experience!

Our only complaint was the room service. We left early morning and requested the room be cleaned by 1pm. Returned by 2pm and found it untouched, however they gave us clean towels to shower and it was cleaned by the time we arrived back again at 10pm. This occurred two days in a row, otherwise the staff was friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable and little to no noise.

Stayed here for a wedding in the hotel. Property was beautiful staff friendly. Only thing was arrived at 3:30 which is after check in and room was not ready and I had to get dressed for wedding at 5. Even though the staff accommodated us with another room we were inconvienanced. When we got our smoking room .you could it was not properly cleaned. Rooms are not very sound proof since we were awoken by loiud music from the other room at 3:30 in the morning. Food and Service at wedding was great but some amenities were skipped such as the martini luge that was promised.

We stayed in 3 different hotels during our. Road trip over a 2 week period and this one was by far the best! The beds are to die for. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud that enveloped my body but somehow still supported it (I previously injured my back).

If you're visiting this area you can't go wrong with this Doubletree. It was convenient to area attractions and popular restaurants. Located next to a large Mall with lots of shopping choices. Front desk was very friendly and helpful when our room coffee machine did not work, we were given free coffee from the hotels full service restaurant. Our room and the hotel were very comfortable and very clean. Would definitely stay here again.
