The Pros – The hotel is in a great location right in Waikiki and very near the Ala Moana mall. Rooms are very roomy with a kitchen area. There are lots of space storage to unpack. The best part of this hotel which keeps us coming back to this location is the full buffet breakfast. They offer several great choices. There are several restaurant choices in the area. Roy’s Restaurant downstairs offers a nice lunch. The Cons – Room is not right on the beach but it’s just a block away. Our room was right next to the elevator which was very noisy. Kitchen is not equipped with cookware, dishes, bowls and utensils. The balcony is very small and narrow and not enough room to sit outside. The hotel does not offer any fanfare on the outside and it’s not an impressive building as other hotels in the area are, however, it is quite a gem!

May seem expensive at first, but well worth the money paid. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hawai'i. Free cook to order breakfast was awesome! Just a short walk to the beach. The free in room internet was a must, and they have a 24hr fitness center. The room itself was great, with a separate bedroom and living area with another pull out bed, with a tv in each room. If you can spend for it, you won't regret it, Overall, outstanding stay,

We loved staying at the embassy suites. It is within walking distance of Waikiki Beach and all the shops around the area. There is a complimentary breakfast each morning and it is delicious. The hotel offers a managers reception each night at the pool with free drinks. The bartenders are awesome. We stayed there for a week, there were nightly shows at the hotel or downstairs, including hula shows and local Hawaiian dances. On our last day there our flight wasnt until 8pm, we had to check out of our hotel room at 11am, but they offered us a hospitality suite to shower and change in all day so we could still go to the beach our last day! The housekeeper was also very friendly and asked about the activities we did each day.

I’ve been to Honolulu a few times and I always thought that the Embassy Suites were priced a little high, so I’d never stayed there. But this time I thought I would give it a try. It was absolutely the right decision! The daily full breakfast buffet alone is worth paying a higher rate. They also host a complimentary poolside cocktail reception every evening. I also like the fact that in-room Internet access was also included in the room rate. The room was spacious and furnished in a very tasteful Hawaiian style. The location is excellent. It’s not actually on the beach, but literally only a few steps away. At the same time, the hotel is on Lewers Street where there are quite a few upscale restaurant options. It’s also near the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center which has an excellent food court. Overall the staff were very friendly. I’d definitely go back.
