Boulder Station Casino
The Boulder Station Casino is located well off the Las Vegas Strip. It’s more of a local’s casino. If you wanted to visit downtown Las Vegas or the Las Vegas Strip, you will need to take a taxi, bus or drive there. The hotel part of Boulder Station features 300 pleasant rooms. Even the local’s oriented
casinos in Las Vegas have plenty of nice rooms available. Boulder Station also features five great restaurants and plenty of gaming action.
Many people opt to stay at a local’s oriented casino, because of the warmth. Boulder Station is not small by any means, but it does have a more one-on-one feeling than the big tourist casinos on the Las Vegas Strip. However, if you stay at Boulder Station, there’s not too much else in the area as far as entertainment goes. You will need to commute to see other attractions. Boulder Station does feature a nice movie theatre and a Kids Quest, so it is somewhat family friendly.
The entertainment is decent. You won’t find any nationally known type of shows like you might from a major casino. The Boulder Station features more of the Vegas lounge type of shows. They do feature bands that are no longer in the limelight, but that you probably know of. For example, they have shows lined up for Quiet Riot, Toto, Arrested Development, Diamond Rio, The Commitments and so forth. The shows allow kids if they are accompanied by an adult. Should you visit the Boulder Station, the first thing to do is sign up for a Boarding Pass card. It can save you money at the Buffet and you will earn points if you play.
