The man believed to be responsible for a series of bank robberies in Pueblo and Colorado Springs was arrested Thursday in Cripple Creek and jailed in El Paso County.

Pueblo Police began investigating Shawn Godbey for bank robbery after someone recognized his photo. Colorado Springs Police identified him as a suspect because he allegedly left his name on a slip of paper at a crime scene.
