The Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains was built in 1864 and is situated amidst snow topped mountains and breathtaking scenery, within 500 meters of ski slopes. The 184 guestrooms have modern décor in soft colours with Art Deco style furnishings in cherry wood. All guestrooms include minibars, televisions with satellite channels, Internet access, DVD on demand and integrated PlayStation games, and bathrooms with under floor heating, designer toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. All rooms have mountain views and balconies are available on request.

The exclusive Kempinski Spa offers numerous facilities over 1,500 square meters. Guests can enjoy a swim in the indoor pool or relax with a massage treatment or sauna. Beauty treatments use Maria Galland Paris and Ligne St. Barth high quality products. The spa also has fitness equipment and hosts exercise classes and a personal trainer is available. The Restaurant Les Saisons is a smart dining room with large windows and décor in cream and gold where guests can enjoy seasonal dishes created by the hotel's executive chef. In the Restaurant Ca d'Oro guests can enjoy gourmet meals and Italian specialities in an elegant room with high ceilings, glass chandeliers and traditional style décor. Alternatively, guests can sample Alpine tapas and wines from around the world in the Enoteca la Vigna, enjoy afternoon tea or a cocktail in the Kempinski Bar with its 1930's décor or take advantage of 24 hour room service. Skiing and walking trails can be found within 500 meters. Zurich airport is approximately 200 kilometres and a 150 minute drive away from the hotel.
