Churchill Downs Racetrack is located in Louisville, Kentucky with live horse racing on two tracks. Live racing is available Thursday-Sunday in season. Simulcast betting is open year round beginning at noon daily.
Home of racing's most venerable event, the Kentucky Derby, Churchill Downs is steeped in history going back to the 1870's with official races beginning in 1875.
The derby runs the first Saturday in May and offers visitors the "most exciting two minutes in sports."
