Harrah's Columbus temporary casino opened at Ag Park on June 12, 2023. Players at the interim casino can bet on horse racing at Ag Park's simulcast and wager on a range of 250 slot machines, reels and video slots, and electronic table games, such as video poker, roulette, craps and more. Hours of operation are 9 AM to 1 AM daily.

In addition to a one-mile Thoroughbred track, which will be the longest in Nebraska, Harrah's Columbus, NE Racing and Casino is expected to have a 28,000-square-foot casino and Caesars Sportsbook with more than 500 slot machines and 14 table games. The property will also reportedly have a Brew Brothers restaurant and a bar called Wishbones. Work has reportedly already begun on the racetrack. According to reports, a Marriott Fairfield Inn and Townplace Suites will be built next door to the casino and connect directly to it. Completion of Harrah's Columbus, NE Racing and Casino is expected in the first half of 2024.
