Dairyland Greyhound Park Review - CLOSED

Dairyland Greyhound Park closed on December 31, 2009 after operating for nearly 20 years.  180 employees lost their jobs.  The place was generally loved, had great food and entertainment, but after seven years of losing money, the end finally came... Over 1,800 people attended the final greyhound races.

Hope came back to Kenosha, Wisconsin in the form of a planned indian casino, "Allen and Hard Rock partnered with Wisconsin’s Menominee Indian Tribe on a plan to build a casino/hotel in Kenosha. The project included everything from a casino, to a concert hall — from restaurants to retail shops — all wrapped in rock and roll memorabilia." stated Fox6News.

The problem?  Governor Scott Walker.  After years of planning and millions of dollars spent, the project - which was to employee up to 10,000 people was destroyed by the stroke of a pen.
