Green Valley Ranch Casino

The Green Valley Ranch is a resort, spa and casino located in Green Valley, which is basically a suburb of Las Vegas. It’s technically minutes from the Strip—as it everything it seems—but it can take 15-20 minutes with traffic. Many casinos offer shuttle services to and from the Strip, so make sure you ask about that—it can save on cab fares. The Green Valley Ranch is very elegant. It is a mix between a local’s casino and a tourist casino. While many locals play there, people from all over the country fly in to stay at the Green Valley Ranch.

The Green Valley Ranch has very nice rooms and they start at just $129 nightly. The main difference between a major tourist casino and a local casino (or resort) is the feel. Green Valley Ranch is smaller and has a more personal feel to it. They pay attention to details and the atmosphere is bound to win you over. In fact, many revisiting tourists have given up on the Las Vegas Strip as a place to stay and prefer places like the Green Valley Ranch instead. One visit and you will see why.

Dining at the Green Valley Ranch is a pleasurable experience. They have the well-known quick food favorites including Villa Pizza, Panda Express and Panda Express, along with signature restaurants and a buffet. The Feast Around the World Buffet is absolutely amazing. It’s billed as an “All you can eat extravaganza of culinary delights.” The Feast Around the World buffet features American, Mongolian, Chinese, Italian and other international specialties along with six cooking stations—live chefs cooking for you. If staying on the Las Vegas Strip or Downtown is out for you, give the Green Valley Ranch a look. It is definitely a nice resort to visit.
