Hard Rock Hotel and Casino
The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is one of a kind. It’s located near the Las Vegas Strip, and it’s one hip place. If more mellow entertainment like Barry Manilow and Elton John is not your style, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino just might be your ticket when in Las Vegas. Their entertainment is a bit different from the traditional hotels that try to appeal to the most people possible. For many, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is like a breath of fresh air.
The Joint, their entertainment venue, features acts like Korn, Cheap Trick, KC and the Sunshine Bank, Flock of Seaguls, Tool, The Fixx, Godsmack, Rob Zombie and many others. This should give you an accurate picture of the diversity and entertainment level at the Joint. The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino also features one of the top nightclubs in Las Vegas—Body English. The club is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It’s not for those that like to turn in early. Body English doesn’t even open until 10:30pm. The club closes at 4am. Dress to impress, because the dress code for Body English is upscale.
Here’s something different. The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino has a celebrity-style salon. It’s called Brannon Hair, which is named after the celebrity stylist and owner. He’s worked with such celebrities as Nikki Hilton, Jon Bon Jovi, Vince Neil, Stephanie Seymour and Britney Spears. Now his celebrity hair salon is open for you inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. This isn’t some mass produced chain. It’s an ultra-personal salon with just four chairs. Guests receive the celebrity treatment. It’s definitely a story to take back home with you.

Location. A massive neon guitar jutting into the sky over Paradise Road marks the cool and contemporary Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. Located one block from the MGM Theme Park and one mile from the Las Vegas Strip, this property stands two miles from the Las Vegas Convention Center. The hotel is located two miles from McCarran International Airport.
Hotel Features. The Hard Rock features five restaurants, including Nobu sushi bar, AGO, that serves Tuscan Italian cuisine, and AJ's Steakhouse with live piano, steaks and smooth martinis. The hotel is home to more than 600 pieces of rock n roll memorabilia, a 30,000 square foot circular casino, a 1,100 seat concert venue hosting major recording acts, and the subterranean nightclub Body English, featuring a retro industrial ceiling, glowing violet tables and green vinyl booths. Pampering treatments at the property's RockSpa include the signature Mediterranean Organic Veggie Wrap, Monticelli Mud and ThermoFreeze therapies. This spa facility houses showers, steam rooms, spa tubs and a limited hour fitness center. Recreational amenities include a three acre tropical pool area with a sandy beach. The Beach Club pool boasts three swim up blackjack tables. Adjacent thatch roofed cabanas contain flat screen televisions, telephones and ceiling fans.
Guestrooms. The rock n roll motif continues in the 646 guestrooms which feature sea green carpeting, eggplant colored draperies, velour furnishings, colorful rock n roll portraiture and French doors. Rooms offer platform beds with leather headboards and 400 thread count Egyptian cotton linens. Room amenities include Bose CD players, 42 inch high definition flat panel televisions, and high speed wired and wireless Internet access for a fee. Bathrooms contain marble vanities and shower/tub combinations. Honor bars are provided in all accommodations.
