Hialeah Park Racing & Casino Review

Although the casino opened in August of 2013 this venerable Florida institution has been around, off and on since 1922 in one form or another with the race track hosting thoroughbreds beginning in January of 1925. The glory of a simpler time along with all the modern amenities can be found here. This beautiful 200 acre park has always been known as “The World’s Most Beautiful Race Course” with lush gardens, a verdant landscape, and French Mediterranean architecture that harkens back to the 1500's. The buildings have earned the distinction of a listing on the National Register of Historic Places. The environment supports a grand population of flamingos and has the honor of being designated an Audubon Bird Sanctuary.

In the ongoing re-creation and enhancements visitors can expect to see the integral parts of history restored to their former glory and accented for an entertainment experience befitting the 21st Century. The 90,000 square foot casino hosts 882 slots and electronic table games, and 23 poker tables with some on the veranda to allow cigar smoking. As the full dream is realized you can expect to see a full service luxury hotel, new entertainment venues, and commercial space creating a vibrant city center for Hialeah.

Hialeah Park Racing & Casino is a mere  5 minutes from Miami International Airport, and only 10 minutes from South Beach or Downtown Miami.

Gaming at Hialeah Park

There is 90,000 square feet of gambling space at Hialeah Park Racing & Casino, all laid out in a splendid architecture. Enjoy a fine cigar with your poker game out on the terrace, or come in for some electronic gambling with 822 machines to choose from. Play your favorite slots or try one of the electronic table games offered.

Table Master Fusion Blackjack offers the speed and efficiency of an online game while still using an electro-mechanical wheel - bridging the gap is a video dealer announcing the action. Bets are placed with virtual chips on  personal monitors with stations for up to five players. The interface allows for many optional side bets without interfering with game flow for other players. Hialeah Park is the first casino anywhere in the world to offer this new way to play. The Vegas Star Live Roulette integrates a fully electro-mechanical roulette wheel with wagering made on touchscreen terminals so you can ride that streak harder and faster than ever before.

Several dining and entertainment options are only steps away from the action and you can enjoy salsa under the stars while sipping a mojito or indulging in the finest of Cuban cuisine. Seasonal Quarterhorse racing usually begins in late November and runs through most of February. Simulcasting runs daily in the poker room and day and night Wednesday-Sunday in the Clubhouse.
