Lodging in L'Imperial Palace Casino
Location. Set in ornate gardens on the banks of Lake Annecy in the French Alps, L'Imperial Palace is located one and a half kilometres from Annecy old town and 20 kilometres from Col de Forclaz ski resort.
Hotel Features. The hotel has a gym, Hammam steam room, sauna and beauty treatment rooms offering hair dressing, beauty services and massages. Guests can relax with a drink in one of the bars and try their luck at the gaming tables in the casino. Multilingual staff can assist with airport transfers and room service requests; complimentary wireless Internet is available in public areas.
L'Imperial Palace offers a choice of dining options, including La Voile, a formal restaurant serving French cuisine with seating extending to a shaded terrace overlooking the gardens. La Rotonde is an à la carte restaurant serving a choice of international dishes, and La Brasserie du Parc holds themed food festivals including Chinese, Moroccan, Thai, Turkish and Canadian.
Guestrooms. The 99 air conditioned guestrooms and suites are located on six floors. All feature park or lake views and some extend to balconies or terraces. Amenities include satellite television, complimentary wireless Internet, minibars with complimentary soft drinks, and tea and coffee making facilities. Bathrooms have bathrobes and slippers, makeup mirrors and hair dryers.
Expert Tip. The Palais de l'Isle is one of the most photographed monuments in France. Built in 1132 in the centre the Thiou canal, the palace was used as a jail but today it houses a popular local history museum and is open to the public.
